4-Hour Annual Memory-Care Training (Managers)

About Course

Arizona Institute for Health Sciences (AIHS) offers a 4-hour Annual Memory-Care Training for Managers designed for memory-care supervisors, lead nurses, and program directors who oversee directed-care services in Arizona-licensed Assisted Living Facilities. This concise refresher fulfills the annual leadership requirement outlined in A.A.C. R9-10-122(A)(1)(g) by sharpening skills in individualized service planning, acuity-based staffing, quality monitoring, and team supervision.

The program is delivered in a hybrid format—2 hours of self-paced e-learning followed by 2 hours of live, interactive workshop (on-site or virtual)—so busy leaders can balance professional development with operational demands. Participants must achieve ≥ 75% on module knowledge checks and demonstrate proficient performance during a capstone scenario; any safety- or compliance-related “Unsatisfactory” triggers targeted remediation and a complimentary re-test within 30 days. Electronic certificates are issued within 10 days of completion and must be retained in the personnel file for 24 months.

AIHS blends brain-based instructional design, expert faculty, and immersive simulation to ensure managers leave prepared to elevate care quality, optimize resources, and sustain regulatory readiness.
